Meet the HammerLane Vet Team
Dr. Gurm
Dr. Soman Gurm was born and raised in Stockton, California, and knew from a young age that veterinary medicine was her calling. She completed her undergraduate education at UC Davis and went on to complete her veterinary clinical training at Washington State University (WSU).
Dr. Gurm is passionate about being a strong advocate for animals and building honest, trusting relationships with pet owners. She values the diversity of practice, enjoying small animal medicine alongside work with cattle, sheep, and goats, with particular interests in reproductive medicine and urgent care.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Gurm enjoys cooking, spending time outdoors, and being with her family.
Dr. Paul
Dr. Sid Paul earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts and completed his clinical year at the University of Minnesota. He has a strong interest in critical and internal medicine cases and enjoys wound management and repair. Dr. Paul values working closely with pet owners to provide thoughtful, individualized care and especially loves working with dogs.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Paul enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. His hobbies include horseback riding, snowboarding, and working out. When he’s not caring for patients, he’s usually on the lookout for great tacos, his favorite food!
Dr. Brar
Dr. Brar earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) and completed his clinical training at the University of Mississippi. He has been practicing veterinary medicine in the Stockton area for over 25 years and brings decades of hands-on experience to his work.
Dr. Brar has a strong interest in small animal medicine and is known for his dedication to patient care and clinical decision-making. He focuses on providing thorough, effective treatment and prioritizes the health and comfort of his patients at every visit.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Brar enjoys spending time with his family. His long-standing commitment to veterinary medicine and practical experience continue to serve the pets of the Stockton community.
